Privacy Policy

Updated August 27, 2026

Version of 27 August 2026.

1. Who processes your data

The controller of personal data is [COMPANY NAME], company code [COMPANY CODE], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Below we call ourselves “the Firm”.

This policy explains what data the website receives, what we need it for, whom we pass it to, and what you can do about it. We act under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” of 1 June 2010, No. 2297-VI.

Questions about data processing: [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What data we receive

We collect nothing behind your back: everything we know you either type into a form yourself or your browser leaves behind.

2.1. What you write in the forms

  • Request for a consultation: name, phone number, email address and the text of your request. It goes into Uspacy, the system we keep client requests in, where a lawyer picks it up.
  • Registration for a webinar: name, email address, phone number and company. We keep registrations in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in order to send you the link to the broadcast and to the recording.
  • Subscription to webinar announcements: your email address, and nothing else.
  • A question for the FAQ: your name and a way to reach you (email or phone) together with the question itself. Only the question and the answer to it appear on the site: your contact details stay in the closed part of the system and never form part of the public answer.
  • A question during a live broadcast: name, phone number, company (if you name one) and the question itself. Besides the log we read after the broadcast, the question is sent to a working Telegram chat so that the speaker sees it live.

2.2. What your browser leaves

IP address, device and browser type, language, the pages you opened, the time of the visit and the site you arrived from. We see this as aggregate statistics and make no attempt to trace it back to a particular person.

3. What we do it for

  • to answer your request and provide legal assistance;
  • to run the webinar you registered for and send you the recording;
  • to send webinar announcements for as long as you are subscribed to them;
  • to answer a question sent to the FAQ and show that answer to other visitors;
  • to put your question in front of the speaker of a live broadcast;
  • to see which pages of the site are read, and to fix the ones that are read poorly.

We use your data for nothing else and sell it to nobody.

4. On what basis

The basis for processing under Article 11 of the Law is your consent. You give it when you submit a form: a link to this policy stands next to the submit button. Where a legal services agreement has been concluded between us, that agreement is a basis as well.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not make unlawful the processing that took place before it.

5. Whom we pass data to

Only those without whom the site and the service do not work:

  • Uspacy, the system that holds client requests, which is where a consultation request lands;
  • Google: Google Sheets (webinar registrations), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (visit statistics);
  • Telegram, where the bot forwards questions left during a broadcast;
  • the mail service our letters go out through and the hosting provider whose servers run the site.

We are also obliged to hand data over at the lawful demand of a court or a law enforcement body.

The data of a client who came to us for legal assistance is additionally protected by attorney-client privilege.

6. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files the site stores in your browser.

  • Technical cookies hold your session and remember the language you chose. The site does not work without them and they cannot be switched off separately.
  • Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics, connected through Google Tag Manager. They show us visitor counts, traffic sources and behaviour on the pages.

Cookies are turned off in the browser settings, and for Google Analytics there is also the official opt-out add-on. The site will keep working afterwards, the statistics of your visit simply will not reach us.

7. How long we keep data

  • a consultation request and the correspondence around it: three years from the last contact;
  • a webinar registration: one year after the broadcast;
  • an address in the mailing list: until you unsubscribe;
  • a question in the FAQ: for as long as the question stands on the site, and the contact of its author goes with it;
  • a question from a live broadcast: one year after the broadcast;
  • the record of a letter sent (address, time, result): one year.

After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Article 8 of the Law gives you the right:

  • to know where and by whom your data is processed;
  • to access it and to receive a copy;
  • to have inaccurate data corrected;
  • to have data deleted or its processing restricted;
  • to withdraw your consent;
  • to complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

To use any of them, write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. We answer within thirty calendar days. Where a request concerns somebody else’s data, we will ask you to confirm your identity: handing the data over otherwise would itself be a leak.

9. Unsubscribing

Every letter carries an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. One click, with no correspondence with us, and the address stops receiving announcements. A letter a lawyer writes about your particular matter is not a mailing and carries no such link.

10. How we keep data safe

The site runs over an HTTPS connection. The administrative part is open to employees of the Firm only, each with a password of their own. No way of transmitting data over the internet is entirely safe, so we promise no absolute protection, but we do everything we can towards it.

11. Children

The site is meant for adults. We knowingly collect no data of persons under fourteen. If you are a parent or a guardian and believe a child has left us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

A new version is published on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Changes take effect on the day of publication, so it is worth looking in here before leaving us your data.
